Painting, round 2

Second painting weekend focused on priming and painting the second floor living space.  We gathered more unsuspecting friends and loved ones- all of whom still seemed to be smiling at the end of the work weekend.  Amazing.

With the walls already prepped from a few weeks back (refresh your memory about that blog post by clicking here), we were able to complete the priming by mid-day Saturday.

... followed immediately by painting, which was done by mid-day Sunday.  We're so pleased with our light grey "Egret White" wall color.  It's hard to make out in photos- you'll need to come see it in person!

Glenn utilized his remarkable height and applied the first coat of polyurethane to the gorgeous tongue & groove ceiling.

Took a break one afternoon for beach combing.  Eliza collected some beautiful seaglass and shells.

We could not be more thrilled how the walls look!  And, we're grateful for the hard work of our guests. Beth and Heather will be back in 2 weeks to prime and paint the loft.  Until then, here's our team's favorite music selection from this weekend.  Enjoy!
