We've spent years loving and admiring this tree, however, she has been slowly loses her vitality and risks falling into the sea (and our dock). Finally, it was time to have her taken down.
First step, getting formal permission from Colleen, the tree code enforcement officer (her actual title!). She took one look at the before photo...
Next step, scheduling Steve to come get the work done. Take a look for yourself at the impressive job he and his crew did!
Upcoming - wood splitting for the winter!!
Steve was kind enough to leave us with the "heart" of the tree.
