Family gratitude

So many reasons for gratitude this summer as the family all came together (this is our 5th time) for the usual set of laughs and shenanigans, salt water smiles and making Maine memories. 

Heather snuck in a garden tour at Avena Botanicals just before the family all arrived. Peace and quiet before the storm, for sure.

Dad is turning 80, which was the no-brainer "excuse" to gather. We enjoyed a lobsterbake at the house, and a sail in Boothbay. 

The kids played lots of backgammon, biked, kayaked, swam (yes, swam! in the Maine ocean!) and sailed.

Another Maine summer on the books. Cheers, and see everyone next year!
