This post is in response to a pressing question posed by our newest follower- Ryan asked for detail about position of the house and the cove. Well, this goes to show that we'll answer any question, with the absolute premise that if one person is asking a question, surely others have pondered it too but been too shy to ask? 

No, you say? You yourself have not been kept up at night by curiosity about distance between house and shore? Hmmm, well either way read on, and let us prove that we'll answer your question as well with your very own blog post. We've got nothing but love for our select group of blog followers.

So, Heather measured it (with supervision from Maxx, who is in the photo for scale, zoom way in, he's small) - 200' from house to firepit (which is at the shore).

Another 50' along the shore path (cleared by none other than cousin Katy in 2021) to the dock.

And because Katy tolerated my ridiculous dogs, she gets an extra photo here.
