Promotion Party... and other reasons to celebrate

Any excuse for a lobster bake is what I say... new jobs, big travels, new boat (remember when we told you about the boat? click back here to refresh your memory about Tenure), the family nearly all (missed you Sarah!) together in one place ... put your bib on and crack open your lobster.

Three generations of Howells/Petersons all together in Maine for a wonderful, all-too-short week. No agenda, lots of fun, it was just amazing. It's priceless seeing all of Suzy's grand children together in Maine. 

We ate great food (even celebrated birthdays!), hiked, watched the full moonrise, played endless backgammon and puzzles, constructed pegboards and extra seating, fished, kayaked and swam (yes, multiple kids in the cove! Although to be fair, sometimes it was accidental, but I'm not naming names).  

Oh, and an actual upcycled buoy art installation! What an original.
