It was warm enough to get out on the water, and we gave the kayaks their first spring "shakedown cruise". The water was cold, for sure, but the sun shone brightly and we watched ospreys fly overhead, paddled to Mom's and Harry's islands, and enjoyed being two of very few hulls floating in the cove.
We worked on house projects, including putting together Heather's massive desk, making room in the garage for Beth's Tracker, settling a new chair into the living room layout, and giving the garden a spring weeding once-over. Of course, I got distracted by the darling wildflowers...
The full moon was stunning as it rose up over the cove-- felt as though that brilliant light was shining right on us. Just amazing!
