Our first weekend staying in the house, and it was one full of light and laughter. Dear friends drove north on a June Friday Night, miraculously dodging summer traffic, pulling a trailer full of larger furniture items, deck chairs, kayaks, and other assorted "homey" items. We were sure glad to see the light at the end of that road. We unloaded, unpacked, and began transforming the house from a construction site moving toward the feeling of a cozy home.
We worked hard Saturday, and wrapped up work with just enough time to clean up and make it to the Vineyard, then the diner for supper. Mother Nature blessed us with multiple rainbows along the drive- stunning! We closed the evening with sunset at Pemaquid. Always a beautiful site.
