Bringing loads of our boxes and smaller possessions into the garage means things are getting crowded- we surely do not want to be the ones to impede construction work or be in the way of house progress.

So, we spent a late April weekend organizing the garage and doing some spring cleaning- sweeping, vacuuming, organizing and cleaning.
And, of course there is always more painting to be done. This time it was the closet shelves and main doors. Got some high quality painting help from Dad (who was assigned the tall places) and Stephanee and Heather (both of whom needed ladders to reach anything close to "tall places"- but we did paint ALL of the other places).
In spite of dreams of painting them brilliant colors, we decided that the doors should blend with the rest of the walls, and thus painted them... Egret White-- remember Egret White? Look back at our color selection blog posts by clicking here and here.
Finished this weekend with a classic lobster dinner- what could be wrong with that sustenance?!?!
I'd say Stephanee and David earned their lobsters!
