The mantra "Onward and Upward" can apply to all sorts of scenarios. At our little house in the woods, it took on special meaning applied to the install of our staircase.
With space at a premium, we opted for a spiral staircase to make the best use of the least amount of square feet. Pete Sylvester from Spiral Stairs of Maine hand-crafted the metalwork, and brought amazing talent, artistry and symmetry to the entry of our home. We hope he will come back to see the finished product, and climb the stairs for a visit. And we hope you will do the same!

Looks like fitting a round peg into a square hole, to our eyes. What do you think?
Beautiful! I can't wait to climb up and visit!
