Living the High Life

Still loving our treehouse view of the property and cove.  Dad took this amazing shot of the winter snowfall this past weekend, as work carried on around us in the house.  I'm sure the workers were delighted with us being in their way, marveling at snowflakes.  So helpful.

Progress on the house is almost done in lots of areas -- tile, electrical, plumbing, doors -- but nothing totally done in any one area.  There's lots of busy activity, and things feel both exciting and nerve-wracking.

How do we wrap up a busy day?  With sustenance of course.  This weekend we revisited our home's logo by enjoying a glass of albarino while dinner cooked.

Then, because one evening's celebration was not enough, we ventured out to the recently opened pub, Old Alewives Brewery- what a wonderful spot!  We'll be back for sure.  For now, we're Back in the High Life... sing along by clicking here.
