The painting task may seem never-ending, but we reached a milestone this early November weekend- by completing all first coat painting. Still need to roll on a second coat, but let's wait until the heat is installed before worrying too much about that. Winter is coming right on our heels.
Beth, Heather & Casey spent the weekend in the loft, prepping the walls, sanding, priming and painting. Yes, all in one weekend! We were proud of ourselves too. Casey wasn't much help with a paint brush, but she had fun climbing up the ladder.
Comfort food meal was baked ziti, which helped to take the chill out of our bones. Nothing less than the best, Liuzzi ricotta cheese-- tastes good, if you can get it.
House may look the same on the outside, but there's lots of activity inside!

The loft is a very interesting space. I'll bet you won't have any trouble finding people who want to spend time there!
