Hot and cold

Making progress, and trying to keep cool, at our little house in the woods.

The electrician finished the rough-in phase of his work, and the insulator was right on his heels, ready to ensure that the house is cozy and warm come wintertime.  The walls look real now, and you can get a sense of the space.  It's great to watch the rooms taking shape.

July-August temperatures call for for summer dessert - Gifford's Ice Cream with homemade blackberry sauce did the trick for us.

  1. I love the feeling of the spaces! The loft promises to be toasty in the winter, I think.

BlackBerry sauce on ice cream does seem like a good way to cool down during this hot summer. Do you have blackberries near you in Maine?
