Lucky in ME

How lucky, how lucky can be...

Lucky in Home:  Work on the house this weekend consisted on caulking and painting.  Not too exciting, but we want our home to stay lucky (and dry- no leaks here).  And, I found a lucky Maine-shaped piece of sea glass on the beach!  A good omen, indeed.

Lucky in Nature:  Mother nature continues to bless us with beautiful bursts of color, and the magic of babies- this weekend we saw baby geese, a baby fawn, and baby grouse-- only the geese were slow enough to be photographed.  You'll have to take our word on Bambi and the flock of tiny grouse.

Lucky on the water:  Helped out with getting the floating dock and ramp properly hooked up to the dock onshore.  This was a 4-person job, for sure!  We timed it with high tide, and the winds were kind (as in, there was no wind) so all went smoothly.  Ready for summer rowing and kayaking in the cove.

Lucky in Music:  The reward of our weekend was a summer concert at Savage Oakes Winery where we took in 2 hours of Melissa Etheridge's (M.E) tunes under a beautiful summer sky.  Click this link to hear a little Lucky for yourself.  What a night!

  1. Another great weekend for you— I am so glad! I love the Maine shaped glass. Are you saving it for some sort of display? Whether you do or not, it looks great with that background.

    1. Haven't figured out yet how to use it, but it sure deserves a special spot.
