Not sure how to introduce this massive lobster, or what his purpose really is, but he seemed worthy of a blog post... and he inspired today's theme of big-ness.
Big woodpile... Has anyone seen Paul Bunyan? We could not seem to find him ourselves, so we rented a log splitter instead and got down to work.
Big flavor... the week was full of exotic meals- from fresh steamers, to chicken tagine. We eat well when in Maine!

(Little) Big flowers... Wildflowers coming into bloom. Little flowers that think big
Big dreams... We're playing with how to design the logistics of the stairs leading up to the loft. Neither a ladder nor a pull-down attic-style access feels very stable or permanent for everyday use. Stay tuned for photos in the future "Onward and Upward" post...
Envisioning a late summer move-in, and lots of future time spent in our haven.
Big smiles...

He had fists as hard as choppin' blocks,
