What's better than surf & turf? In this case, lobsters and delicious honey roasted ham from Lori & Larry's local spot in Maryland, Hahn's of Westminster. But now the secret is out, so let's at least bring you up to speed.
Closing on our land was Friday afternoon, and the staff at Bath Savings Institution took great care of us-- financially and then some... You see, on rare occasion it gets blazing hot up here, and today was a doozie-- thankfully the bank had air-conditioning, and was pet friendly! Our dog, Casey, was part of the conference room proceedings...
No time to rest, though- the weekend chore list was long- clearing brush from the lot, meeting with contractors to organize the build, upgrading the family dock with amazing non-stick weatherproof rubber rock, welcoming guests in the cove from near and far, and keeping spirits high. After all that hard work, not just any ole' dinner will do.
Steamers and lobsters from Osier's can't be beat. Pairing it with a honey ham takes it to the next level. And for a hot summer day, here are a few of our favorite summer beers.
